Take your time here. They only staff one person who has to handle new reservations and returns. It's the day after Easter, the shuttle driver tells me there are 97 reservations for the day, and management thinks one person can take care of it all. I didn't get to check out, I left the car keys on the desk. I couldn't miss my flight, I arrived two hours before the flight, as per their instructions. I would recommend arriving four hours before because the line to return your vehicle will be that long. This reservation was not cheap, someone is making big bucks penny pinching and not staffing this office properly. Don't expect anyone to answer the phone when you have an issue either.
I had a good overall experience with Payless and the car was clean and drove nicely. Customer service was okay.
I gave this company the benefit of the doubt, Boy I shouldn't have. This is a big cup of Nope! The worst car rental in history!!I booked over the phone and used my debit card to purchase the rental. I get there and the manager told me I had no choice but to use a major credit card and for him to hold 200 more on it. I had already paid for my rental. He refused to give my money back. I even told the manager I was going to add to his bad reviews and still he had a" I don't care'' attitude. Still refused to give me my refund, after I was told over the phone, I could use a debit card. He only wanted my major credit card. I called the 800 # in front of him and they refunded my money and said I could have used my debit card. This car rental is off Alico Road in Fort Myers. BEWARE of this shady place.
The worst experience ever. Never again and I will never recommend this place to no-one. !!! They put charges you dont about and then they refuse to refund anything. I will never rent from these company again. Very unprofessional instead of explaining the charges they'd rather send you e-mails to tell you no you can't get a refund on charges you weren't aware of.
Shuttle driver to and from airport great. Car was great, but I needed to extend my stay for a day. I accepted the total added charge over the phone, but when I turned the car in the next day, they charged me an extra 50%.
