My experience with working with Hertz was flawless....as it always is. I wouldn't rent from another company.
It is incredibly easy in Fort Meyers because all the cars are literally across the exit doors of the airport. The display screen in huge and so it's easy to find your name and stall number if you are a Gold member. The easiest, smoothest experience!
Hertz staff are always welcoming and kind, I hold a great appreciation for them, it isn't an easy job...working with so many different kinds of people.
Great experience being a gold card member in Ft.Myers airport. My name and parking number was on a big board in the garage. I simply went to the parking slot and got into my car. It was great to rent at Hertz.
Excellent service. Love the text to let me know where my car is located. Easy to grab car, get my paperwork at the exit booth and be on my way. Returning the car took less time than I needed to get my luggage out of the trunk.
This was a much better experience at the rental counter than I have had in the past with Hertz (the Seattle Hertz counter at the airport is a nightmare....I would NEVER recommend them). Charlie at the rental counter was very helpful, and though he tried to get me to add on a bunch of additional things, I know that's the way they all operate, he pointed out other good information. The car was okay, EXCEPT, it had a headlight out. Driving at night with only one headlight was not safe. Plus it rained frequently, and I had to turn on the headlights, so I was constantly worried about being pulled over for having a headlight out. When I returned the car, and told intake, they were like oh, okay. Why would they have rented out a car that had that kind of issue. Made me wonder what else was wrong that they missed.
