We like to rent at this location because it is close to the airport and a lot less cost than renting at the airport. It is much less hassle as well. However, the vehicles are very limited. We rented a luxury class the last time and got a Lincoln which was nice but it was absolutely filthy inside. It looked like a construction crew had been using it. We actually bought leather wipes and tried to clean it but it really didn't make a dent in the grime ground into the seats. Truthfully, the outside was dirty also. We had to stop and clean the windows and mirrors. It is disappointing to rent a nice vehicle and then be afraid to sit on the upholstery. I know they don't have time to detail each vehicle but in this case, it should have been sent out to be cleaned before it was rented
This Fort Myers group was awesome! Cars were in high demand after Irma swept through but they made sure I had one when I arrived. Super friendly staff and they made sure everything was perfect before I left the lot.
Overall, it wasn't a bad experience. Car did what it needed to. Kevin was very helpful with everything that we needed. Only complaints I had was that the Mustang I rented was very dirty when we picked it up. Also, only three of the four tires matched, which I thought was weird. Would think with a big company like this cleanliness and tires would be pretty important!
I have used the Daniels Pkwy location on several trips to the Ft Myers area as I preference the use the "off-airport site" locations when travelling to Florida. Kevin Smith was great...called me several hours in advance of my pick up time to confirm my ressie and provided an upgraded vehicle which in retrospect I really needed given the number of people/luggage I was transporting. When I returned a week later and was on my way to airport with several people in line ahead of me, he recognized me and offered express checkout so I just handed him the keys and he indicated he would call if needed. My final bill came via email several hours later for the exact amount expected. Great service especially since I am not a heavy user or member of some "elite" class.
All in all was a great experience. Was fast an easy to pick up an return. An the staff were excellent an friendly
again....especially as a luxury class. I'll still give 4 stars based on service but I hope to get a cleaner car next time.
