We purchased three rooms of furniture in September from the Fort Myers, Fl. store. Our sales person, Corey M., was great. He listened to our different styles and guided us accordingly providing various suggestions so we could make our decision.
I bought a three piece living room set. The salesman seemed to be good, found out a couple days later he put in a $500. Scotch guarding charge in the sale that I didn't want. I tried everything to rectify this issue but the company refused to do anything about it. Now two years later the leather is coming off the couch head rest area. Spoke to customer service sent emails nothing. Never again rooms to go.
I was so pleased with my experience showing at Rooms to Go. The salesperson I worked with (Migena) was extremely helpful and followed through on every question I asked and ensured my complete satisfaction. The delivery team was also excellent. They arrived when they said they would, were very efficient, and very helpful and friendly. Lastly, I am thrilled with the furniture. Thank you!
The furniture arrived packaged nicely, the delivery men were very professional, constantly asking if we were pleased with the placement, did it need movement etc. Our only issue was one cabinet door did not close properly. The delivery person showed how the locking mechanism just needed adjustment and took care of it.
Terrible, terrible experience. I'm VERY disappointed. If I could give no stars, I would. Delivery will be (assuming they get it correct this time) THREE WEEKS after I've picked out my furniture and paid for it. THREE WEEKS! They cancelled my original delivery when they were only supposed to be checking if the following day was available. They didn't follow up with me the same day, as they said they would. I called both the store and customer service, with no real actions toward fixing the problem. And when I went in the store, the manager was beyond terrible. Took no responsibility for anything, very defensive, rude and again, no help in fixing the problem. I love the furniture, but will NEVER go back. Too many other places to buy from who appreciate your business and have much better customer service. HIGHLY dissatisfied with this company and it's management, from one manager to another.
I went to the Rooms To Go showroom on Sunday 24 September to purchase a sofa. The service was great and I paid for my sofa with a deposit on my debit card and balance on my Rooms To Go credit card. I asked the sales representative if the delivery of the sofa can be on Friday 29 September. I took half day vacation without pay to receive the furniture on Friday 29 September. At approximately 5pm I got a call from the delivery driver that he would be there at 6pm. Approximately 6:30pm I received a call from Rooms To Go saying that the driver had an emergency and that he would not be able to deliver the sofa today. I asked the dispatcher, what day I would receive the delivery. She advised that I would be receiving a call later that day. This call never came through. I called the store on Sunday and spoke to the sales representative. He told me he would look into it. I called him again on Monday 2nd October as I never received a call from Rooms To Go. He was nice enough to take off the delivery charge and told me that he would look into having my furniture delivered on Friday 6 October and would call me back that same day. Never happened. His days off were Tuesday and Wednesday so I called him back on Thursday. He was off that day as well. I received a text message from Rooms To Go that the delivery would be on Friday between 2-6pm. My family is on vacation and staying with me and I had to take time away from them to accommodate this delivery. On Friday at 5:05pm, I decided to cancel my order. The sales rep said that my deposit would be refunded in a couple days. At approximately 5:50pm, I received a call from the driver saying he had a delivery for me. I told him that I cancelled the delivery. He was going to contact the office and they would get back to me. I asked him what time would he have delivered the sofa and he said 6:20pm which was outside the window originally stated. Representative from the company called to confirm that I cancelled order. I said yes, and they were never contacted by the sales rep in Fort Myers. At 6:07pm, I received a call from Rooms To Go inquiring about my service. What an audacity as I never received this furniture. It does not seem that the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing in this company! No compensation or lack of communication has led to an irate customer who will not recommend Room To Go for furniture purchases in the future.
We highly recommend RTG and will definitely visit Corey again.
