Dr Jonathon was very caring and spoke in layman terms. The staff has been wonderful and easy to deal with. I would recommend SVS to anyone who has pets. I can't give them enough thanks for the treatment and care of the dogs.
I would never recommend this place to anyone. Deciding to put our cat to sleep was the most agonizing thing I have ever had to do. I don't believe in it. I feel they should die of a natural death when it is old age but I couldn't tell if she was suffering or not and i had to do what was best for her and NOT us. Tigger was our baby, we had her for 18 years you can just imagine the love there was between us over that many years. The memories , cuddles fun etc. Well we were both a wreck and I told the technician I wanted to be there when they put her to sleep NOT when they euthanized her. She said NOT a problem. Well she never came back and when the other person came in, he asked do you want to do it on the table or in your arms. I said in my arms and he proceeded to give her the shot. I expected her to fall asleep and leave as the other lady took over. That did not happen. He gave her another shot... she screeched and sat straight up in my arms gasping . I was never so mortified in my life. Then he says and I quote " They always take one more AGONIZING breath." What the hell is that??? You see a family grieving and to tell them it was agonizing after they weren't even supposed to do it that way. Now my husband and I have that image burned in our minds as our last memory of her instead of seeing her go peacefully . They knew i did NOT want to see that, I said I could NOT handle that. They did it anyway. Miscommunication??? I do not know and do NOT care as our memories of that day are so horrific !!!

We were referred to Dr. Eisele for orthopedic knee surgery for our german shepherd. He did x-rays and came into give us the great news that she did not need it! She does have arthritis of the hips and we can manage flareups with anti-inflammatory medication for several years before surgery. He was Very professional and caring and we would recommend him to anyone needing a surgeon. While our dog was sedated for x-rays Jordan was so thoughtful and trimmed her nails for us! Thank You Jordan!!!
From the time I called to discuss our options for treating our dogs torn ACL-ccl to the time they removed her stitches she was treated with expert care and love. She is completely normal again. Highly recommend the staff, the doctors and the nurses. Fact is, better than some doctors offices I've been to.
