Veterinary staff is neglectful and incompetent. If you care about your animal, go somewhere else. We were told that our cat was experiencing anxiety and given anti nausea medication for vomiting. After no improvement and a visit to an actual veterinarian, he has had a blocked foreign object in his stomach the whole time. He may die by the time he gets into surgery and it would not be the case had we gone somewhere else. Make the right choice
They almost killed my son's cat. They said he was just emotionally distressed after traveling. He kept getting worse instead of better. After taking him to another vet, that Dr discovered the cat had been eating hair ties and would require surgery to remove them or he would die. It was so bad, they weren't even sure the cat would make it through surgery. He did! And had over 30 hair ties removed from his stomach! Don't take your beloved pets to Daniels Parkway Animal Hopsital! They are incompetent and were very rude when they were made aware of the diagnosis and outcome of what had to be done to save this cats life by a different doctor!
They were open right after hurricane irma hit taking care of all the animals! I dropped off injured squirrels and they took them in right away, as well as scanned a microchip on a lost dog we found as well. They offered us cold beverages while we were trying to find the owners during the hurricane and treated us very very nicely. These people truly care about all the animals that come through their door!
Daniels Parkway Animal Hospital does not even deserve the one star minimum that is required on this review. On Friday 09/22/2017 at 8:00am I brought my cat Carl to this veterinarian hospital because he had thrown up approximately 20 times the night before and obviously I was concerned for his health. After keeping him for the entire day they ended up telling me that there was nothing physically wrong with Carl, he was just stressed due to the evacuation traveling we had done, they had given him an enema for "constipation" a shot of fluids and nausea medication. They neglected to give him an ultrasound or an X-ray to actually confirm that he was ok. As a consumer I did not question anything they did, I believed that my baby was fine. Fast forward to Sunday night when we arrived with Carl at an emergency veterinarian hospital we were told within 10 minutes of our arrival that Carl had a blockage in his stomach, they gave him a grave prognosis. He was going to die because of the negligence of the cold hearted murderers that are the staff at Daniels Parkway Animal Hospital. I called the manager over there and she told me over the phone that I was a negligent pet owner for following their instructions and not asking questions in the first place. After all of this and after I told them that they did not have authority to charge my card for their grave misdiagnosis and their negligent malpractice, they proceeded to fraudulently clean out my bank account. If you love your fur babies and you respect yourself and your family, don't waste your time with these murderous money hungry fiends and take your furry family members to a hospital that will get it right when it counts.
VISIT WITH CAUTION if you love your animals. They said our cat was fine, just "emotional" and that was why he was throwing up. The sent us out with false hope and without doing any testing. Our cat rapidly declined, ending up in an emergency animal hospital with a 50/50 chance of surviving. Please be careful, these people do not care about your animals.
