I have been a Fort Myers resident for almost 30 years. I do try to patronize local businesses, but I have never been to the store. The main reason I have never gone there is the spokesman's (probably the owner) appearance and behavior in your TV commercials. Perhaps he was ill, but he did not present an upscale, honest impression. I have seen that recently he seems to be doing better, so I checked the website. Here I have to say that having 34 glowing wonderful similarly written compliments with only 1 or 2 less than perfect scores does make me suspicious. Sorry, I will not be shopping here.
My husband purchased some estate jewelry for me that Kristen thought I had tried on and expressed an interest in. She must have mixed me up with someone else as I did not care for the pieces. We were told that estate jewelry cannot be returned for a refund, and I was most unhappy as there was nothing else I liked in the store for that same amount. I did see a matching bracelet and necklace that were beautiful, but much more money than the original pieces. Kristen spoke with the owner to see what could be done, and he offered me the bracelet and necklace for the same price as the pieces were returning. My husband exclaimed, "You now have a customer for life!"We were very happy and very satisfied.
These are all evidently lies. Please BEWARE of these unethical tactics to prey on people.
Just went to Provident jewelry today because we saw online they were rated 5 stars. We are so happy we did. We first went to Jared and we are so glad we found Provident. They are extremely friendly and work hard to find what you like. All of their jewelry, at least 90 percent comes from estate jewelry. My ring is one of a kind and I just love it!

Unfortunately Provident Jewelers uses a dishonest and unethical marketing tactic, like a 'bait & switch' to attract you into the store. But the truth is they will not even give you a price! They want you to give them the price you want!
Provident Jewelers is my first choice for anything that has to do with jewelry in Ft. Myers. I have worked them for over fifteen years and have been extremely satisfied with their integrity and professional responses to my questions and purchases. Aaron is the best. He has a vast knowlege of all things jewelry and I can depend on him every time.
They advertise “within minutes of arriving at one of the seven locations with jewelry, art or collectibles you can walk away with cash or check.”
I highly recommend Provident, Aaron and his staff.

They advertise they sell/trade/cosign. They have 'actual' customers stating they received more than what other jewelers offered them.
