We just happened to be moving during the week Hurricane Irma hit. Talk about stressful!! When I initially called they said they were currently scheduled to pick up the week after the hurricane. I was terrified! Although we had rented one of the smaller units, I had worked all night to get it packed to the top so it could be moved before the storm. I will spare the full story, but what initially felt like a lost cause, ended up being far better than expected. PODS stepped up and took care of us! Within 24 hours they had accommodated my request to bump up my pick up date.
The drivers were excellent and so was the website to follow the progress of the move. We ordered our POD to move from CT to FL and it started out great. The POD was delivered clean and empty and the driver put it right where we wanted it. We filled it up and they came back to pick it up. We closed on our home in a few more days close to a week then we drove down to our new home over the next 3 days and unloaded the cars when we got there. We had some of our essentials packed in our 2 cars but most of our belongings were in the POD. I made the call to get the POD sent to our new home and the customer service representative said that we did not call them to tell them to ship the POD down to FL!!! ARE YOU FREAKIN KIDDING ME!!! Sorry sir it will take over a week to get that done for you!!!!! If you use PODS you better make sure you you tell them that YES I want my stuff to be at least in the state that I am moving to!!! The POD was still sitting in the storage area up in CT. Totally disappointed with that move.
I also received follow up calls to insure me the POD would be taken care of, which went a long way to alleviate my anxieties.

Very satisfied with overall service. 2 PODS delivery to storage for 3 months at this location. Did on-line delivery to my home and was on time and very courteous drivers. Highly recommend PODS a cost effective solution.
I asked to have the container door face my garage and they faced it the other way. Common sense played no reasoning to the driver. He said it was marked different on their site. I have changed my address at least 3 times on the website, shows the old one still. Their website is a mess. Nothing I picked worked on the website. If your going to use them, call them. Their website is horrible!!!!!!! Charged me $70 to come switch it back to the way I requested. Will never use them again.
The PODS solution worked out very well for our move from Pennsylvania to Florida. Service was timely and as described. Billing was fair. This was by far the most cost effective way to complete our move.
