Great store and great service. Super people. My father and I visited the Bass Pro in Ft Myers yesterday. We have fished from Montana to the Great Lakes to the Chattahoochie River, but have limit knowledge and experience of saltwater techniques and tackle - our last experience was a private half day with a charter captain out of Sarasota which was awesome! With that we were looking to purchase some basic rods and gear to do some leisurely inshore fishing off the side of a pontoon boat - nothing too serious, just relaxing and throwing out a line or two. We met Chuck who was a great listener and wealth of knowledge - he patiently answered our questions and gave us options and suggestions. Always able to find what we need, great service at the shoes department, was looking for wader. Fishing department has a good selection. You pay a little more but they have everything.
We came for the Great Pumpkin Patch event. No pumpkins even a decor. One bag toss. One ghost craft. In comparison to the Christmas event I feel like they could do alot better. We love the Christmas event.
This store is way cool! The layout has so much effort put into it, it’s almost like an outdoors-themed tourist attraction. Lots of cool product too from sunglasses, to camping gear, to nice candy (Think big bags of saltwater taffy). They’ve got a little something for everyone even if you aren’t an outdoorsman (or outdoorswoman). Check it out!
Food was excellent, all food was very fresh and delicious. We had fish tacos and the fish dip super yummy. We will be back. Thank you.
