Absolutely wonderful. For a few bucks you can see the cutest manetees. The ocean temp is around 72 so there were only few around, but it's still an awesome experience
Nice park but didnt see any manatees because the water was very brown when we we're there do to the hurricane and run off.
My complaints: Some of the plants are a little overgrown and some of the gravel paths look a bit sketchy. Honestly, neither of which is really that big of a deal.
Although we went when it wasn't the right weather we still enjoy going and looking at the views. They have a playground for kids and tons of areas to sit at and enjoy. Parking is 1.00 I believe and there are a bunch of pamphlets on manatees and SWFL by the bathroom's. The best time to go is when the weather is chilly or windy since that's when the manatees migrate to the power plant on the other side.. For the warmer waters.
I had a great time with the kids. Nice little park. Would have been a bit livelier in the winter months and we might of seen some manatees and a lot more butterflies. It was still a good time.
Great place to learn about and view the manatees. There is also a kayak launch where you can rent kayaks or launch you own.
