As you will see in the photos, there are numerous concerns I had with my stay. As I walked into the room, the leather chair was completely ripped to shreds. I immediately took a photo and showed this to the staff and was offered an apology. When I attempted to turn on the lights that are located in the middle of the beds, I noticed neither one worked. Worst of all, one of the bulbs was broken in the socket. It is also a major concern to know how that was cleaned up, if at all. Moving on to the the desk lamps, there was a missing bulb in one of those lamps. Only 3 out of the four lights in the room were working properly. The next problem was that the AC unit in the room. It would not cool lower than 71 degrees. At one point I had set the temp to 45 degrees (for several hours) and still stayed at the 71 degree temp. I had to make several trips to the front desk. (she attempted to reset the unit but to no avail). The only floor that had ice was the 2nd floor; the other 2 floors were completely empty. Most importantly, the chair was broken unbeknownst to me and when I went to sit it it the chair the legs gave out and I strained my back by having to grab the corner of the bed to not bang my head against the table. I immediately went to the front desk again, and the woman was also coming up to replace the lights that were not working. Inside the room, I demonstrated that the chair was broken and there was no concern about moving the chair. Hopefully it was removed at the end of my stay. ( I made that recommendation again when I checked out). The shower curtains were moldy. On a lesser note, the guide for HBO was for July, even though it was now almost 3 weeks into August. If that would have been the only problem, I wouldn't have mentioned it or bothered, but in the totality of everything that happened I felt it was necessary to include this information. Lastly, I am very concerned about the ETHICS of this hotel. With not getting much sleep in this room, I left behind my fathers birthday card and my parents anniversary card. They were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary and it also happened to be my fathers birthday. We stayed in that hotel because they were renewing their vows. I called the hotel the next day and was told these items were not located or documented. It was a, "Don't know if anything was found." I informed them specifically where the cards were located. I called the next day and still there was still an uncertainty. After I escalated this with the property management, magically the cards now had appeared. How were the cards unfounded for 2 and a half days. If the cleaners cleaned the room the day I left the should have been logged immediately. I wish the story had ended there with finally receiving the cards. However, this is not the case. The cards were sent to the profile address on the bill, which is my father. These cards,as of today, have still not surfaced. I had a 100$ dollar restaurant gift card in each of the cards. So, this leads me to believe that these cards were never located and I am being lied to about this, or they were taken by the cleaning staff. In my line of work the chain of custody is very important as not to leave any questions of impropriety. Seeing how the hotel was being operated, I could easily see that they were stolen. After constantly contacting the property manager, my fathers credit card was finally reimbursed 3 weeks later. I was the person that had to reach out to her. She should have been notified of the problems immediately and reached out to me. I believe the staff was hoping all of this would have been, "Wiped under the rug." I am extremely dissatisfied with the entire organization. 3+ months and still the cards have not arrived and no contact from the hotel or management. In conclusion, I waited this long to post this to see if someone would contact me from corporate and still silence. I sent several emails to corporate and still no reply!!!! i tried to post videos but couldnt upload. The term SEEDY Hotel comes to mind

I had to walk through a big group of people smoking at the front door not once but twice.

From now on I will just drive on into Bonita Springs they have a great Holiday Inn Express with better rates.

Bathroom door had dirty hand prints on it.

#317. I travel. I stay at many hotels. I like Holiday Inn Express. This hotel is overrated and misrepresented by it's previous reviews. Dirty and moldy. I brought this to the attention to the staff, but they do nothing. Hey, do whatever you want, but don't keep soliciting me to give the property good reviews but do nothing. Words are air without action. Fingernail clippings, dust and food under the desk. Mold in the shower.

Hallways and elevators floors was pretty dirty.

Clean rooms and great staff. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the hot water never gets hot. Just warm. Other than that it's a great hotel in a great location.

Not a very pleasant stay at this Holiday Inn from the moment I checked in, front desk associate had absolutely no since of humor and was argumentative.

Just not the quality I have come to expect from Holiday Inn Express.

The beds in my room was very uncomfortable.

Mirrors in room was dirty.

Service is great the place is kept clean. The only issue is the elevator. But the staff do go out there way to help you. I remember one attendent helped with our bags cause the luggage cart was occupied.
