I live in SW Florida.. As such, I've never used the heat in my car.. But I've come back to find the heat on full blast. There's NO REASON for them to turn on the heat when they're moving the car only so far as to park it.. Unless of course.. Someone is sleeping in the car. The seats are adjusted for whoever they're letting use your car while you're parked there, and management doesn't care. Yeah, it's more expensive to park at the airport, but at least your car doesn't become a motel for homeless people. It's worth the added expense not to have that happening
Great service so close to the airport. Every airport should be so lucky to have a service like there's.
Turns out the we weren't even CLOSE to the "Pick Up Spot". We still had a lot of walking to do, along the front of the terminal, into the parking garage, all the way through the parking garage, across another road, and FINALLY to the "Pick Up Spot".
After getting our baggage, I called the number on the claim check and said we were ready for pick-up. Standing outside of baggage claim, there was curb-side drop off, and in the median was the shuttle bus operation. Just to be sure, I asked if should wait by the building or out at the median. The clerk said that we had to go to the pick-up spot, because they would be fined if they picked up next to the terminal. So we waited at the median.......and waited....and waited.
The price seemed fair enough, and the drop-off experience went as should be expected. But when we returned, the process was far less than smooth.
It was easy to book on line and the rates were great. All of the staff are extremely friendly. They dropped us off and picked us up in no time. And our vehicle was waiting for us, with the AC running, when we were dropped off.
Cheap - For a reason
Unfortunately, because of this extremely poor customer service, we won't be using or recommending this company in the future.
Now I'm sure that the spot is designated by the airport, so they really have no choice, but Executive Valet failed to ensure that we knew that the Pick Up Spot existed, let alone where it was. And when I called back the second time, there was no scintilla of an apology for not making sure I knew where to be - she simply said "I TOLD YOU TO GO TO THE PICK-UP SPOT!"
I HIGHLY recommend Executive Valet Service.
After 20 minutes or so, I called back to see what the delay was. The clerk asked if I was at the "pick up spot". I told her that we had been standing at the median since my first call, and that it shouldn't take 20 minutes to get there.
The drop off for the airport was awesome and quick. The return pickup spot at RSW is a long walk from the terminal, which I didn't enjoy. But while they had my car I had a complete detail and it was FANTASTIC! They did a great job and my car looks like new again! THANKS to the detail crew!
So here's a little advice to the folks at Executive Valet Parking: When your paying customers return from their trip and call you for pick-up, your response might be something like this: "We'll meet you at the Pick Up Spot. Do you know where the pick up spot is located?"
