Been there once on Friday, last night and it could have been a fun evening for all age groups and those in my party, if not for one thing and one that made it a joy for leaving behind shortly thereafter. This DJ of sorts began with some very loud and some of the worst rap music, if you choose to call it that. Yes, I'm old, but again, there were all age groups in our party and also others, around and about, that didn't appreciate it any more, than I did.
I held a Red Bull event with my team at HeadPinz and the entire staff went above and beyond for us. Jennifer did an amazing job organizing everything for us and even surprised us with getting our logo on all of the screens! My boss decided to drive up from Miami at the last minute as well and was extremely impressed. The bartenders and servers did a great job. Everyone had a blast! I am extremely thankful to HeadPinz.
Great experience for both kids and adults! Everyone bowled and the VIP room was great for our large group of all ages for our childs Birthday party. The kids especially loved the laser tag. The food was good and the party planner told me what I should order as far as bowling lanes and food. There is plenty of flexibility with adding more food at a later time. Everything went smoothly and was very organized and personalized .
Besides the bowlers who might have liked concentrating on their game, there has to be some laws for the amount of decibels, one can subject a human to. The place is noisy enough already, with something that can't be helped, so now try to imagine, mixing the two together.
We had a defective lane. There must not have been a second 10 pins to reset each frame. Took forever between players to reload. And then about 25% of the time the ten pins would come down and several would fall. We’d have to reset the pins. That was no easy task either. The computer screens were not very intuitive. Spent a lot of time hunting personnel down to help us figure this out. Impacted our concentration and games.
45 minutes before seeing a waiter/waitress in the VIP area. Lanes/bowler info messes up for 20 minutes of our start time before it was fixed. Bartender busting her butt to take care of us while others stood around and conversed and 2 that were outside "hooking up" Spent a lot of money to rent 4 "VIP" lanes to feel anything other than VIP. Our money will go elsewhere. Sad to see that people that left their families to help with hurricane Irma over Thanksgiving received this kind if service!
