Tiny, unassuming little eatery that my husband and I stumbled upon while on vacation. He had the sausage and peppers sandwich, I had the meatball sub. Both were absolutely delicious! I had the spumoni gelato for dessert, which was delightful. The prices are extremely reasonable, the food is wonderful, I highly recommend!

Upon entering Cafe Italia on 20351 Summerlin Road Fort Myers FL. I was handed a menu which was filled with freshly made Italian specialties I haven't had since leaving N.Y. I decided to have the chicken parm. for my first time and was amazed at the tenderness of the chicken, the taste of the homemade mozzarella,delicious sauce and bread. I have been back several times since this first occasion and have sampled numerous entrees on the menu as well as homemade Italian dessert and coffees. I can only say Executive Chef Michael Romano has certainly brought the gourmet taste of Italian delicacies to Fort Myers at reasonable prices making it family affordable. I give this local treasure five stars!
